  • Bank transfer (BACS): Use the checkout as normal, selecting ‘BACS’ as your payment method. You will need our bank details a/c number: 46330429 sort code: 60-60-06 to make a transfer from your account (most banks will allow you to do this via telephone or internet banking or in branch). You will need to put your order reference as the reference for the payment so we can match the payment to your order. Once we have received cleared funds into our account, we will send your order.
  • Cheque: Use the checkout as normal, selecting ‘Cheque’ as your payment method. Please attach a copy of your email confirmation or write your order reference on the back of the cheque so we know which order the payment corresponds to. Cheques should be made to Action Deafness Ltd. Once your cheque has cleared we will send your order.
  • Paypal site is VeriSign Secured. The web site is completely secure when you go to the check-out (you will see the padlock appears and the URL change to https://)
  • Place your order by calling 0844 593 8440. Our office hours are 9am – 5pm (Mon-Thu) and 9am – 4.30pm (Fri). We can take payment by credit/debit card over the phone.
  • Send your order by post to Action Deafness Books at The Peepul Centre, Orchardson Avenue, Leicester LE4 6DP. If you handwrite your order please print clearly and include quantity, item description and cost. Don’t forget to include the postage charge. Print your name and delivery address clearly and include a cheque payable to Action Deafness Ltd.

  • We are happy to invoice businesses and organisations for their purchases on standard 30 day terms. Please email, fax or post your purchase order to us remembering to include the postage charge.   • Orders placed by 1.30pm will be dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 1.30pm or on weekends will be dispatched the next working day.

  • Refunds will only be given in the following cases:-
  1. The wrong item has been dispatched
  2. The item is faulty or damaged in transit
  3. The item is unwanted and in a saleable condition (i.e. all labels, packaging in tact, no damage or signs of use). Please ensure that you have received the correct item and wish to keep the item before removing any packaging.
  4. DVDs must be returned sealed in plastic shrink wrap, once opened a refund cannot be given.
  • Refunds will only be issued when returned goods have been received and inspected. Please package any return items carefully as Action Deafness Books will not be accountable for items damaged in transit where no effort has been made to package them appropriately. Postage costs will not be refunded unless we sent an item in error.
  • In cases of Exchanged items, your alternative item will only be issued when returned goods have been received and inspected.
