Action Deafness Granted CIW Registered Care Status, Launching Specialist Support Services in Wales.

(04.04.2025) — Action Deafness is proud to announce that the organisation has been granted the CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) registered domiciliary care status, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to enhancing the lives of Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing individuals across Wales.

Craig Crowley, CEO of Action Deafness said: "We are absolutely thrilled to achieve CIW registered domiciliary support service status. This accreditation allows us to grow our services in Wales and ensure that those who are Deaf, Deafblind, or Hard of Hearing receive the specialist care and support they deserve."

Christopher Reid, Director of AD Service Delivery, who is leading this important development said: “This new accreditation enables us to provide specialist care and support services tailored to the unique needs of these communities with Local Authorities largely based in South Wales. Our new and dedicated team is poised to deliver transformative support that empowers individuals, fostering independence and improving quality of life. We are looking forward to providing these services.”

The services will include personalised care plans, supported living support, and specialist 1:1 support. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment that promotes social engagement, independent living and overall well-being.

Action Deafness yn Derbyn Statws Gofal Cofrestredig AGC, Gan Lansio Gwasanaethau Cymorth Arbenigol yng Nghymru

(04.04.2025) — Mae Action Deafness yn falch o gyhoeddi bod y sefydliad wedi derbyn statws gofal cartref cofrestredig AGC (Arolygiaeth Gofal Cymru), gan nodi carreg filltir sylweddol yn ei ymroddiad i wella bywydau unigolion Byddar, Byddar a Dall, ac unigolion sy’n Drwm eu Clyw ledled Cymru.

Dywedodd Craig Crowley, Prif Weithredwr Action Deafness: “Rydym ar ben ein digon cyflawni statws gwasanaeth cymorth cartref cofrestredig AGC. Bydd yr achrediad hwn yn ein galluogi i ehangu ein gwasanaethau yng Nghymru ac i sicrhau bod y rheiny sy’n Fyddar, yn Fyddar a Dall, neu yn Drwm eu Clyw yn derbyn y cymorth a’r gofal arbenigol y maent yn ei haeddu. “

Dywedodd Christopher Reid, Cyfarwyddwr Darparu Gwasanaeth Action Deafness, sy’n arwain y datblygiad pwysig hwn: “Mae’r achrediad newydd hwn yn ein galluogi i ddarparu gofal arbenigol a gwasanaethau cymorth sy’n bwrpasol i anghenion unigryw'r cymunedau hyn mewn Awdurdodau Lleol sydd wedi’u lleoli yn bennaf yn Ne Cymru. Mae ein tîm newydd ac ymroddedig yn barod i ddarparu cymorth trawsnewidiol sy’n grymuso unigolion, yn meithrin annibyniaeth ac yn gwella ansawdd bywyd. Edrychwn ymlaen at gynnig y gwasanaethau hyn.”
