To develop, coordinate, and provide individual support for young deaf, hard of hearing, deafened and deafblind individuals (aged 10-18 years) facing multiple communication barriers to take their next steps towards a positive destination.
The Youth Development Officer will be responsible for the overall development of the programme and opportunities for young people as well as establishing, building and maintaining partnerships with local organisations (schools, referral agencies, social work and colleges). This role also involves providing direct support to the young people.
Whilst covering the East Midlands and surrounding area, much of the role will involve outreach work carried out remotely.

Hours: Monday to Friday – 5 hours per day (Example 10.00am to 3.00pm)
