Leading Deaf-led charitable company Action Deafness has successfully maintained its two ISO accreditation certificates for another year.

Action Deafness has held the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 27001:2013 certifications since 2011.

Commenting on the certifications Action Deafness’ Head of Services Jaz Mann said:  ”Action Deafness’s focus on quality management (9001), information & security (27001) have both played a major part in the continued success and growth of our organisation. We are grateful for the hard work and contribution from all of our staff in policies and procedures and this hard work and commitment reaped its rewards”.

Roland Hilton, Vice-Chair of Action Deafness said: “I worked in a business company using quality systems for around 10 years and can’t remember a single year when we didn’t have a few minor non compliances to sort out. It was a bigger organisation of around 150 people, so quite rightly we still felt pleased with how we at Action Deafness were performing, so well done everyone concerned.”

Craig Crowley, CEO of Action Deafness added: “Absolutely delighted that we achieved our accreditation status without any non-conformities; in a sector where quality and sustainability are paramount in our service provision yet our investment in achieving both the ISO certifications proves that Action Deafness won’t just talk the talk but in actual fact can walk the walk.”
