The board of trustees has duly appointed Alison Lewis as our new board member, effective from March 2015.

Alison is currently Senior Equality & Diversity Officer for the City of Lincoln Council and is also founder and proprietor of Lewis Training & Consultancy.

Alison says, “I am delighted to have been asked to join this board and am interested to see this organisation driving forward with some exciting plans – I look forward to exploring its strategy in our new visionary role as business solutions provider”.

Peter Kendall & Karen Read – joint chairs – commented, “We are very pleased to be able to take Alison on board as we believe with her background and calibre she will help bring positive benefits to our governing board and the organisation as a whole”.

Her appointment coincides with the confirmed departure of board member Chris Ratcliffe, who has stepped down after four years. Chris, who is Executive Director of Development at the English Federation of Disability Sport, was presented with a hip flask as a token of the board’s appreciation of his loyalty & commitment during his tenure.
