Learn Filmmaking & Capture Stories of Parents Who Are Deaf

Join us for 4 FREE workshops designed to teach you filmmaking and film history interview skills while capturing the important stories of parents who are deaf in Derby.

Together, we’ll create a series of short films, which will be exhibited at Derby Museum and Art Gallery from October 2025 for 6 weeks, and shared in an archive and online for years to come.

The Hub is open to young people who are D/deaf, Hard of Hearing or children of Deaf adults (CODAs) between the ages of 12 and 18 years.
