British Sign Language is the preferred language for thousands of people in the UK. We need your help to improve accessibility, inclusion and communication for the deaf community. We’ve therefore put together a set of resources for anyone to start learning basic sign language.
We believe everyone should understand a basic form of sign language to offer some form of communication with Deaf people.
Our resources are a great starting point for anyone learning British Sign Language. If you’re just starting out, finger spelling will help you become more familiar with the alphabet.
When you become more confident, you can then to begin learning basic communication signs.
