Hello everyone! Today is a very special day—it’s National BSL Day!  

I am so proud to be a BSL signer! I am equally honoured to serve as the co-chair of the first-ever BSL Advisory Board working closely with the Minister for Social Security and Disability, Sir Stephen Timms. 

The Minister, the Board and the supporting civil servants are working hard to ensure that the Government is more accessible to people who use BSL. All this work is building on the fantastic BSL Act (2022). Let’s celebrate our progress and keep pushing for even more accessibility and inclusivity. Look out for news about positive changes and reports from our Board soon!
