Action Deafness has launched its Impact Report for 2021/22. The Report is centred on creating better and brighter futures for the charity’s clients and service users.
Despite the challenging circumstances, 2021 was a successful period for Action Deafness. Over 35,000 hours of community and care services were delivered with the introduction of Personal Care 24/7 provision being established in Derbyshire.
Action Deafness confirmed a new partnership with SignVideo, completed the merger with Walsall Deaf People’s Centre and successfully secured Lottery Funding for Generation Communication (support for older deaf people).
Service-users, partners, staff, stakeholders and supporters are at the heart of everything AD does and each plays a pivotal part in in its continued success. Exceptional services are delivered by well-trained compassionate and enthusiastic people.
2022 promises to be an even better year for Action Deafness, with business and innovation at the heart of its plans and priorities.
The Hub Connect project will promote engagement and wellbeing, the introduction of a bespoke digital fundraising and marketing portal will give ease of access to stakeholders and service-users to the services AD provide to the deaf community.
Collaboration similarly plays an important role in AD’s success and 2022 promises to be a year in which new partnerships and initiatives with like-minded organisations will contribute to positive impact and even greater successes in service provision.
