A Deaf-led Charity, Action Deafness, one of the UK’s leading providers of services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, is delighted to announce its appointment to the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) framework.

This agreement framework puts Action Deafness and its partners in pole position to deliver face-to-face and remote sign language interpreting services with NEPO-approved contracting authorities throughout the UK.

This appointment also enables Action Deafness to work with RNID, Rare Rockets and other local sub-contracting partners to deliver high quality interpreting services for the next four years.

Craig Crowley, CEO of Action Deafness, said: ‘It is a tremendous achievement for Action Deafness and our partners to be among the few Deaf specific service providers on the framework. We are looking forward to working with new organisations to provide quality sign language interpreting through which Deaf, Hard of Hearing, deafened and Deafblind people will be able to make informed choices.’
