CEO Craig Crowley Represents Action Deafness at VODG Conference

Craig Crowley

Our CEO Craig Crowley was invited to be a plenary speaker at the recent Voluntary Organisations Disability Group (VODG) Conference in Birmingham.

VODG is a membership body representing organisations within the voluntary sector who work alongside disabled people.

Members’ work is focused on enabling disabled people of all ages to live the lives they choose. VODG believes that an ambitious, trusted and vibrant voluntary sector that works together plays a unique role in achieving this aim.

Craig presented on the lived experience of being a Deaf CEO using the conference’s themes of “Connecting, Collaborating and Influencing”. The presentation was well received by member CEOs from across the VODG membership.

The conference was inspiring; to be able to gather insightful and thoughtful comments from a range of speakers including plenary presentations and workshops, culminating with a keynote speech by Jeremy Hunt MP, Chair of the Health and Social Care Select Committee

A big thank you to CEO Rhidian Hughes, Head of Membership Kerry Hamilton, Trustees and the rest of VODG team for organising such interesting and informative conference.

Thank you for your support!
