How you can help…

Choose Action Deafness

You can help us to change the lives of people who are deaf with additional needs by choosing Action Deafness (AD) as your charity when making a donation, taking on a challenge, hosting a coffee morning or when voting for your Charity of the Year at work. The money you raise will help the people we support to enjoy the things many of us take for granted.

Make a Donation

We rely on the generosity of the general public to support our work in the community and enable the people we support to access employment, education, leisure and social opportunities. Help us to make a difference to the lives of deaf people in your local community. Read on to learn about the ways you can support us and the community.

Take on a Challenge

Previously we have taken part in fundraising activities such as a sky dive and the London Marathon which were both huge successes. Now you can organise your own event to raise money and increase the profile of AD.

Download a copy of our sponsor form below, or set up your own Just Giving page and let your sponsors know you are raising funds for AD.

Legacy Giving

Leaving a gift in your will is a meaningful way of making a lasting contribution to the support to deaf people. Every gift left to AD makes a difference to the people we support, allowing us to provide high-quality services that meet their changing needs across East Midlands and the UK. For more information on leaving a gift in your will please contact Jim Robertson on 0844 593 8440.

Give as you Live

AD is now signed up to Give As You Live, an online tool which allows our supporters to donate by shopping online. Thousands of retailers such as Amazon and Sainsbury’s have signed up to donate a percentage of every online purchase you make to your chosen charity at no extra cost to you. So support us while you shop and sign up to Give As You Live today!

There are lots of ways you can make a donation to support Action Deafness.

Payroll Giving

Volunteers supporting AD have been involved in befriending schemes and even fundraising. These contributions have been invaluable and made a difference to the lives of deaf people. Volunteering offers an opportunity to learn new skills, meet amazing people and make a contribution to society.

I knew I had to do some fundraising so did London Marathon and raised £2,000 for Action Deafness!
Paul, Company Name
Few of us enjoyed some ‘busking’ at one of the musical festivals and suddenly thought why not to rattle some more coins and raised fair bit for the worthwhile cause Action Deafness are doing
One thing I learned about fundraising at AD is that if we pick the right moment we can make a lot of money!
I dressed up as Gruffalo at one of the literary festivals at University of Leicester and raised £500 for our AD Books – fantastic experience!
It was once-in-a-lifetime experience doing skydiving and raised £800 for Action Deafness – thanks for organising it for us!
