In this report, we outline the steady growth achieved in 2019-2020; pride in our staff and other providers and partners who have assisted AD to achieve its growth.

The Report looks at the future by responding to the challenges faced by Deaf, Hard of Hearing people today and preparing for the difficulties that older Deaf people will face tomorrow.

We have identified a growing crisis in mental health, with rising numbers of Deaf people not being reached by mainstream services. We are acutely aware of the potential financial implications on post COVID-19 commissioned services and contracts. 

As A Deaf-led organisation, we want to ensure we respond accordingly and make the most of early intervention and prevention work where possible, to ensure that Deaf people are always provided with the necessary specialised support.

With this latest Impact Report, Action Deafness wants to make it clear that we are keen to work with national, regional and local partners to develop radical solutions and opportunities that support vulnerable Deaf children, young people, adults and older people.
