KATIE HULBERT APPOINTED AS NEW OFFICE MANAGER
Action Deafness, a national Deaf-led charitable company whose registered office is based in Leicester, has announced a new staff member to join the management team – Katie Hulbert has been appointed into the role of Office Manager.
This is a step-up promotion for Katie, having served as Bookings Coordinator for Communications Interpreting at Action Deafness.
Her role will involve facilitating the efficient running of the office through a range of day-to-day administrative, bookings and supervisory tasks as well as supporting all members of the team. The new appointment in this vital role comes at an exciting time for the charitable company, that also has offices in Derby and Brighton.
Action Deafness has opened a new office in Loughborough University, welcomed several new recruits to the team, received plaudits from external stakeholders and contractors for our enhanced professionalism and most recently made a huge investment in joint venture agreements. We continue developing important partners in delivering communications interpreting and community personal care & support services.
Commenting on her new role Katie said: “I was first attracted to this role because of the varied support needed from the different members of the team. I am looking forward to this positive challenge and a tremendous opportunity for new experiences.”
