Action Deafness announces Yvonne Cobb as new Patron
Action Deafness is delighted to announce that Yvonne Cobb has agreed to become the charity’s new Patron.
Yvonne Cobb is a respected presenter, entrepreneur, chef and Deaf advocate. Widely known for her work on BBC Morning Live and BBC See Hear, she has built a career dedicated to championing inclusion, accessibility, and the visibility of Deaf people and British Sign Language (BSL). Yvonne’s leadership and lived experience make her a powerful role model and an influential voice for equality and representation.
Craig Crowley, CEO of Action Deafness, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Yvonne as our Patron. Her commitment to Deaf communities, combined with her warmth and national profile, makes her a perfect Patron for our Deaf-led organisation alongside with other distinguished Patrons.”
As Patron, Yvonne will support Action Deafness by helping to raise awareness of its work, values and impact.
