BSL (Wales) Bill passed by the Senedd
BSL (Wales) Bill passed by the Senedd
11 March 2026 was truly a historic day for Wales. Action Deafness Cymru was delighted to be represented at the Senedd Cymru alongside other members of the BSL Consortium including the BDA, NDCS, RNID as well of course as members of the Deaf community. It was the day Senedd debated and passed the Wales BSL Bill into law. It's a momentous occasion and one that Action Deafness Cymru was extremely proud to be part of. We can't wait to see this Bill finally enacted.
It's important to recognise the work this team did as Wales Council for Deaf People (WCDP) prior to becoming Action Deafness Cymru. It was a brilliant day, and the team did so much to make it a success. Congratulations!
