“Responding to the community and personal care needs of deaf people in a post-pandemic world. The Action Deafness experience”

Join with the Action Deafness Care & Community team and its panel of experts as it appraises Action Deafness’s community care response during the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. Like never before, Covid-19 exposed gaps in community care provision and practice yet at the same time, it highlighted the need for a dedicated and specific response to the care needs of deaf people.  A constituency so often marginalised.  This webinar looks to identify what we can learn from the Action Deafness experience and seeks to imagine a social care system that is inclusive of the needs of deaf people.

Who Should Attend?

Health & Social Care Leaders/Commissioners / Policy Makers

Health & social care staff leading person-centred & care transformation projects

Front line workers i.e. social workers based in the community
