Action Deafness is proud to announce another new Deaf Patron: Rinkoo Barpaga
Action Deafness, a leading Deaf-led charity in the UK, is delighted to announce the appointment of Rinkoo Barpaga as a new Deaf Patron. Rinkoo is a talented Deaf Stand Up Comedian and a keen Documentary Artist. Rinkoo grew up in the Midlands where Action Deafness has its Headquarters. He says:
“It is a great honour for me to become a Patron of an organisation with an excellent ‘Deaf-led’ ethos. It is important to me that organisations embrace diversity and equality as they provide services to benefit Deaf people. It is a privilege to work with Action Deafness who strive to make a difference to all the Deaf community, particularly those who are often marginalised.”
Craig Crowley Chief Executive of Action Deafness commented on the appointment:
“We are delighted to have another Deaf Patron in Rinkoo Barpaga following Sophie Stone’s recent appointment! Rinkoo’s support will be essential in helping us highlight the importance of diversity through our work with vulnerable Deaf people. I have no doubt that Rinkoo and our other wonderful Patrons will support Action Deafness to achieve positive change within communities across the UK.”
