Black History Month

Hello!

My name is Paul Ntulila, and I am Hubs Connect Operations Manager at Action Deafness. Action Deafness are excited to celebrate Black History Month, which takes place in October every year. Action Deafness are proud to support and celebrate the diversity, culture, identity and heritage of Black people across the UK.

As a Black Deaf man, I am proud of my identity and I don’t just celebrate Black History only in October, but every day, 365 days a year. Action Deafness supports all efforts to provide greater equality and break down barriers for Black people.

We acknowledge the additional barriers faced by the intersection of being Black and Deaf, and we celebrate the culture and achievements of Black Deaf people. Happy Black History Month to you all!”
